G-AJHY (13388) BEA converted most of their fleet of DC-3s with new interiors, fitted airstairs and gave them the fleet name of "Pionair", with the freighters being the "Pionair Leopard". All BEA aircraft carried names, this one being RMA William Henson (RMA = Royal Mail Aircraft), plus the Royal Mail logo on the side of the fuselage, as Royal Mail was carried on most domestic and international flights. This was the final colour scheme worn by the "Pionair" fleet while in service with BEA.
