Reverse High Speed Exit
Was hoping that someone could give me a point of reference. With over 21 years of airline flying; it was my understanding that the use of a reverse high speed exit off a runway required prior permission for a turbojet.
I have located the references in the AIM to change of direction on the ground and expeditious exit of a runway; but nothing specific to a "reverse high speed exit". I am not adverse to the notion that I have taken a local airport restriction and placed it on top of my entire memory - but through several conversations with fellow crew members - have found that they have the same belief that I do..... "prior permission is required" for a jet aircraft. Any insight or reference that someone can give me would be helpful. Thanks, Commercial Removals || Removals and Storage||Specialist Removals |
