Honeywell's Boeing 720 testbed N720 was broken up for scrap on Honeywell's Phoenix apron on Saturday, June 21, 2008. The actual demolition process lasted about 4 and a half hours on Saturday, with the subsequent removal of the broken up remains and engines and the clean-up being completed on Sunday morning. The replacement experimental aircraft, the Boeing 757, was moved back into position on the ramp around 1 pm on Sunday afternoon. This time lapse video shows the entire job from start to end condensed down to just a few minutes.
